Lies fan Bommelsteyn's new arrival!

On May 8, at 7:45 in the evening, we welcomed a new arrival.  Lies fan Bommelsteyn produced a colt sired by Mintse.  He has been named Eyse (Eye-sa) of Shady Nook. 

Eyse is becomming quite a character here.  He is full of himself, has a very willing and curious dispostion and has quickly captured the attention of all the horses on the farm.  Eyse will be a wonderful riding/driving horse with a forgiving, willing dispositon suitable for youth or amateur owner.  I think this boy is gonna have a lot of hair and will mature into an extremely handsome adult.  It will be a pleasure to watch him grow.  He is simply a very quick study when it comes to learning new things.  He is leading well already and picking up his feet and being brushed and petted.  That is about all we do with them at this stage but we may have to advance faster with him to keep him challenged as he is a quick learner.  We offer our Friesian foals for sale at any age or level of training.  We raise them to sell them!  Eyse is the son of a Model mare and sired by the famous Mintse.
