Gregor, Onne x Oltman, born in 2002 has been a top contender in the Saddle Seat show ring.  

Gregor is a son of the 2006 KFPS Champion Stallion Onne. Onne is described by the jury as “very impressive with a beautiful self carriage and much willingness to work” and also that “he has a great deal of balance and beautiful suppleness. Through Oltman, Gregor is a grandson of the show stallion Tamme. Tamme was said to “show off like nobody else” when in front of an applauding audience. Gregor also inherits excellent performance qualities from his motherline including his granddam, Wietske K who has an IBOP score of 92. Gregor’s line is Star, Star, Model+Pref, Model.

Gregor is an excellent selection for your amateur or juvenile rider and has the gentle personality that has made him a barn favorite.    Gregor has many shows while carrying junior exhibitors and was one of the winningest horses on the East coast last year in the junior exhibitor classes.   Tall handsome athletic gelding with a heart of gold. 

 Gregor has earned Champion honors at the last two shows of 2009.  (Georgia State Fair Feathered Horse Classic and Clemson Fall show)  Look for Gregor in the spring of 2010 in harness with owner Bill Jackson on the lines.  This should be a dynamite combination and I am looking forward to seeing Gregor in harness.  Gregor has been shown very successfully under saddle with both juvenile riders and in the open classes.  Gregor is truly a versatile individual with so much presence and flair and yet he simply has a heart of gold.  Truly a horse that absolutely loves to show.
