Evita is the product of extensive breeding research and LUCK!   The mare line is known for fertility, high quality, refinement and performance.   The stallion line is known for power, gameness and exceptional disposition.  Evita is a very correct filly in her stature, gifted in her movement and an absolute "baby doll" attitude.    

Evita's mother is the famous Tessa van der Zuiderwaard.  Tessa had two foals early in life then she went into Saddleseat training.  For 3 years Tessa dominated the Friesian Saddleseat cirucuit winning an astonishing 5 World titles.  Tessa also earned her place in front of the Dutch judges by receiving a 1st Premium Star rating.  Tessa was retired from the show ring in 2007 and was bred to the phenomonal Approved Stallion Ulbert.  Evita is the product of that breeding.    Tessa's first son, Marwyn of Shady Nook Farm, has become an impressive Saddleseat Champion for owners Bill and Deborah Dancer with their daughter Meredith Dancer in the irons.
